Who Are You Fooling?

It’s funny how people act so differently depending on who there around. Pastor Alan brought this up this morning in church, but I’ve found this to be so true in my life as well. Especially in students this seems to be a huge problem. I like to call it the two faced person syndrome. You wear your pretty smiley “I Love Jesus” face around your pastor or people you go to church with. But when your at school or around “non-christians” you cuss like crazy and are a jerk to everyone. Seriously, who do you think your fooling? You really don’t impress anyone with your “I Love Jesus” face, we can all see through it. It’s fake! Who you are when no one is looking is who you really are. But here is the thing that makes this whole two faced syndrome so funny. While you think your fooling your “christian” friends, God is watching your every word and action, and he knows who you are. Heres my best advise: Just be who you are, the same person everyday in every situation no matter who’s around. Work on your flaws and own your behavior. Give up the silly game your playing because you can’t win. I know this sounds harsh, but I really want to help. So for both our sanity just be real!
